INTRODUCTION to EGE BINGSS 2022

Dear Young and Promising, and Enthusiastically Wondering Future Neuroscientists,

It is with great pleasure that we welcome you on behalf of the Neuroscience Society of Turkey (TÜBAS) to the “8th Ege Biennial International Neuroscience Graduate Summer School” or with the traditional name EGE-BINGSS, that will be held in June 27-July 1, 2022, at the Ege University of İzmir.

The main topic of this year’s program will be “Trends in Neurosciences: bridging the new techniques with indispensables” focusing on insights into new developments and new questions in health and disease through the art of different disciplines in modern intelligent times. EGE-BINGSS’s program includes lectures to improve your theoretical knowledge in neuroscience, but you will also have the chance of joining wet labs and special interest groups (SIGs) to improve your academic/scientific skills but also get the opportunities for close communication and cooperation with the national and international faculty to build future networking.

We would like to inform you that EGE-BINGSS have applied to Turkish Research Council (TÜBİTAK) Grant, Society for Neuroscience (SfN) Chapter Grant, and IBRO-PERC Support. As the Organization Committee we wish that we will have the opportunity to help the student’s accommodation, certain meals, and shuttle services coverings. We will continue to keep you informed of developments in this regard on our website.

We will do our best to capture the unforgettable spirit of EGE-BINGSS and have a great week benefiting from the basic and state of the art knowledge, know how, and wisdom harmonized with joy and colorful memories. Please help us meet the ultimate aim of EGE-BINGSS by joining our family and interacting as much as possible to consolidate long term learning, to offer all that you know, and to establish new friendships as well as educational / professional bonds and networking.

If you want to be amazed, and co-witness the exciting coherence, interference, interaction, and the "complex cause and effect affairs" of new trends in neurosciences, please join us to recognize, learn- and who knows- maybe collaborate with the lecturing eminent senior scientists and clinicians in pursuing the avenues for resolving the complex interactions in the nervous system both in homeostatic and pathological situations.
